Zavijah, Lord of Wisdom, Discovery, and LibertyAppearance and PersonalityZavijah most often inhabits the forms of a gnome or a giant. Legend has it that will also inhabit birds and wild creatures, observing the world through their senses. Of all the gods, few are as taciturn. Zavijah haphazardly interacts with mortals, and such encounters are often accidental and grudging on the god's part. He is thus known as "The Silent God," absorbed in matters far beyond the mortal coil and ken. The Faith of ZavijahZavijah has authority over the spheres of Discovery and Liberty as well as Wisdom. Those with wanderlust in their hearts, seeking enlightenment, or with a thirst for more knowledge often murmur a brief prayer to Zavijah. The religion of Zavijah often expresses concerns for Liberty, striving that all should be able to speak and do as they wish as far as others are not jeopardized by that license. Slavery and oppression are strongly, sometimes violently, opposed by the religion of Zavijah. The faith of Zavijah is a faith of the Light, seeking, in the words of the sage Verbose, to protect "the free exchange of knowledge" and to "defend the helpless from murder, oppression, or torture." Only a few are invested into the faith, yet all are welcome to worship him as part of the pantheon of the gods, paying homage to him as they see fit and in their own manner. While Wisdom itself may be gained by anyone, the religion of Zavijah consists almost exclusively of priests with a zeal for the Light.
