Why is flying perpendicular to the wind forcing you south? It makes flying over the ocean in windy weather well-nigh impossible.

There ARE solutions (warlocks, shamans, certain items), but at times it can be kinda overkill.

that's only in gale-force wind, during which time any normal sane person would be hiding under the bed, not flying over the ocean.

Making it so that gales never naturally occur and are simply a tactical measure which shamans/warlocks can utilize would be dandy...

Correction, making it so that gales aren't an every day thing in Taslamar would be dandy. Once in a few RL days, maybe. Not every day.

I could understand, maybe a certain climate having the gale force happen excessively. Certain mountains, or peaks... gale forces could send you anywhere really. Depeding on what wind is already behind, or to the side of you. Compare it like driving over a bridge, and you catach a nasty side wind, so high in the auir, it can pick you up off the bridge, and send you way the hell out there, off the bridge, not likely but does happen. Nature is weird. Or a sudden tornado.. like tornado alley. We don't have an area like that on SK, really unless yer way out in the water.

Have you considered that it might be some part of another GRP?
