Halflings can be necromancers, in fact of the best kind, because there is an actualy historical reason behind them and their bind to necromancy. Look about that in dozens of books and NPC interactions in the game. And this is the ONLY form of the arcane halflings should hold imho. In fact, I don't understand why halflings are built in ways that would be so caster-orianted, instead of being great for the adventurer classes (other than bard, that they already make decent ones). I would VERY MUCH rather see reason to build a halfling rogue than a halfling sorceror.

Oh, I missed that one. Yes, they can be necros and they have a very specific history about it, with many IC resources about the age the gnomes of Craeftilin practised necromancy.

Halflings and gnomes made pretty kickass necromancers before the tweak. Better than deep-elves, pretty certain of that. Gnomes have endless mana so they could animate for hours on end then go own face with an army of wights and throw too many spells. Halfling necros are pretty much the equivalent of humans, just with two more cha points. Now, of course, they can't hold so many wraiths, so they're down to armoring really well and throwing spells.

Need to make halfling barbs (get rid of mercs) Then they need shamans, there are plenty of tribal halfling villages around, there should be representing PC classes.

...why would you get rid of a halfling merc? Especially just for a halfling barb?
