Can we have a breakdown of what trainers actually exist? Not even the OOC cheater sites have accurate stats on this.

I'm imagining a table with rows, in alphabetical order, for every ability. Perhaps categorized into class clusters or, at least, languages/skills/spells. The columns would be kingdoms and non-kingdom areas. The values would be sums of the number of trainers for that item in that kingdom.

This would be more useful than any actual tweak. Why? Because I'm fairly sure only the Pantheon, if anyone, knows the full extent of what is actually out there. Asking us to offer ideas for changes to things that aren't common knowledge is a bad idea. Why? Because someone will come up with a bad idea that looks really good, and after a whole bunch of time gets put into it, no one will have either the balls nor the power to point out that it is a bad idea and should be scrapped or revised.

Achernar's been musing about removing all the X trainers for quite some time. I see this as builders attempting to patch the game code, and it has already been done. A lot. To me, it just sounds like veterans getting disgruntled about how easy people have it "nowadays" thanks to the mentorship system.

If any skill gets trainers removed, make it Leadership.

For anyone who might be new... can you give an example of a past bonanza for context?

Announcement forum has all the basic announced bonanza events. Baldric and Dulrik are right. I know that limiting final strike or voodoo trainers is a possibility builders can accomplish without code changes. There are several possible ways this could eventually work out. Announcement for the events should be later tonight or tomorrow. This would not remove the skill entirely. It would restrict access to training partially or completely for an indefinite period. That period would be used to decide and implement the changes that make the most sense based on the events that occurred.

Also please do not spam abuse these skills. This will not accomplish the intended goal.

Tell me if I understood you correctly. This is a type of test run to see whether removing or replacing these abilities permanently would be a viable option?

Remove siegecraft. I certainly wouldn't miss it. Bow and crossbow are far better ranged combat options.

Agreed, though it is useful for Cabal defenses.

Here are some early morning ideas:

This will require a slight code update and trainer change.

Give Paladin and Hellions create symbol and their special religious spells.

Last I checked they are still considered clergy.
