You know, I was thinking, all good characters die (yes, even delear and frollith), and then we essentially don't ever see them again. Wouldn't it be neat if Age-deathed characters could do more? I'd like to see a possess option for age-deathees, possess. Basically like manifest, except you control a certain NPC. Not characters. That would be too screwey. Just NPCs. Any comments? (dumb question) |

Really cool idea fluffy! ... Just so long as you can't possess any gm barb NPCs, get all spelled up and go rape people. Maybe just a priest/priestess of your faith, or a shaman if youre a panthiest (low-level of course, for RP only). |

I'd like to have a low level lich that I "become" (i.e. possess). I think it'd be really neat for rp. |

I love Rusin's idea too, I bet there are a lot of class specific possession/manifestation ideas that would work... And this is not something that can attack anything in any way in my mind btw. What about for now just using the manifest command after age death sends you as a ghost to your home stones?

I like it as long as they possess only low/mid level NPCs. Just a more material form of manifestation, nothing that can be considered OP. |

I think the idea is fun- coming back to haunt people in the form of an NPC would be interesting to say the least. And it's not like anyone will have an age-dead character every single time. |

Its enough that all dead characters that havent deleted can manifest. There has been RP with this from some very old characters. Any kind of possess option like the one you're talking about would turn into one big [REDACTED] circus given this player base. |
