Priests are the only class that don't get the skill. They are meant to enter battle at times yet they don't get it. Sorc and Necros get it and they aren't really meant to go hand to hand. |

Sorcs and necros get dodge to make leveling less than impossible, in the beginning. At least, that was always my impression. Priests get shield block. If they had dodge, they would be among the most leet tanks ever. |

But you don't get shield block until Jman, and you get attack spells by then so you can now stand behind something. Shield block would be a great deal better at lower levels while you are getting kicked around in melee. |

I dont think they need it. They wont really be helped much when it comes to leveling. I would like a low damag spell at the younger levels though |

No dodge for priests, they have shield block. One defensive skill is enough. |

Lightie priests do have it better when it comes to levelling, at least for lower levels. Undead healing seems a lot faster than tanking. |

Priests should get second attack at novice or initiate rather than get dodge. |

Considering the HP priests have, the armor they can use, and the spells they can cast, they have all the endurance they need. Nor is darting around the battlefield part of the class concept. |
