I found two help files while talking to someone else that are missing some important factors of the skills/spells. As a new player learning the skill the help file is all the information they get. I feel its important for them to get all the facts about the skill.

[Skills help] taunt

Syntax: taunt <victim>

Swashbucklers can use their razor-sharp tongues to infuriate bystanders and
cause them to attack in a wild rush. A well-aimed taunt can even cause
someone who is already fighting one person to switch to the taunting
swashbuckler as well*. The verbal attack will cause them to lose focus so much
they will consider quaffing a potion of recall out of the question,* even if they don't
understand the swashbuckler's language! The mocking tone of a well-delivered
taunt is a language all its own. Some spell casters may even lose their
concentration when taunted by experienced swashbucklers.

Added the word of recall potion tip.

[Spells help] Transport Spells

Syntax: cast 'teleport'
Syntax: cast 'teleport' <location name>

Teleport takes you from your current location in the world to a random
other location. Beware, as you may find yourself facing enemies more
powerful than you can safely handle or situations from which there is
little chance to escape*, as you can not teleport while in combat*.

Those with an explorative nature may also find ways to teleport to
specific locations. Which places and how to do so are things that
you will have to discover for yourself.

See also: gate rift summon

Added you can not teleport in combat which is a very important thing for people teleporting around.

Am I the only one who thinks taunt skill sounds more like a bard skill??? I mean who better to infuriate someone with words then a bard???

Granted, it would not be as good becuase bards dont tank like swashies do but in groups, taunt just adds more to a bards group abilitys...

I wish there was some other way to balance swashbucklers than taunt. I don't like the implication that even the most disciplined monk, or peaceful priest suddenly flies into a fury and tries to beat the guy up, growing too stupid to use normal methods of attacking like spells.

I know there is a wisdom save for it, but I don't like the way it forces characters to act so far from their normal nature, no matter how many times they've been in real combat and are expecting the guy to insult them.

In concerning bards, taunt and persuade. I don't like the fact that a swashbuckler can freely taunt without them getting in trouble while persuade will get the persuader in trouble.

I completyly agree with that... Taunt and persuade should both get the guy in trouble.... or niether should...

Still... Bards should get taunt becuase well, the skill fits them more then swashies...

Swashbucklers are loud mouth drunkards who use their disgusting tone and language to woo [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] the hell out of people. They live to [REDACTED] people off. In other places they're considered pirates of sorts. I fail to see how they don't deserve 'taunting' as one of their skills.

Bards can be anything. From nuisances to singers. But why would they need to taunt anyone into fighting them?

Not that they NEED it, I dont think taunt would be nearly as usefull with bards as it is with swashies... but If anyone could infuriate you, you would think it would be a singer/writer/actor... Just seemed to me that they would have the quickest tongues...

But if not, its alright...

but it would be cool to persuade Tank Kill Caster and follow it with a taunt on the caster...

Silmar, I agree with you. They make the help files a bit more... helpful.

Meztiso, are you [REDACTED]? Seriously...
