Dispel magic is an aggressive spell. When you type c dispel self you are not casting it on yourself, you are casting it on the room to get rid of gates etc. It is really awesome that you can do this to get your pulse racing and what you are proposing is a nerf to sorcs. |

If we want a way for people to arbitrarily get their pulse racing, why should we only permit a select few to be able to accomplish this, and only by using a little known side-mechanic of the dispel magic spell? We should simply script it so that the 'fondle' command raises pulse. That way, we can get into situations like, "They have a rogue- don't forget to fondle yourself." Believe me, it would be a lot more exciting than dispelling a rift. |

Dispel magic is an aggressive spell. Casting it on yourself breaks invis/sanc. QQ more. Trying to dispel <cabal spells> is a "dispel self" and should set your pulse racing. |
