They are able to steal money directly out of your container.
People summon them to inns then I imagine summone them away to kill them for the cash.

NPCs stealing money from your containers is a bug. If you see someone summon them into a room for this purpose, you can report them for bug abuse. Or you could just kill the monkey? |
