The log you are quoting isn't current anymore. But even if it was, I still think it is conceivable to survive 2 rounds with the guardian before fleeing.

It's very. I've done it myself multiple times as a char with 500 hps, front rank, fighting the golem and enduring the gas breath.

Can we please restore the chest to the room's of the guardians?

If you want to watch hording, please check out people carrying 100 items they don't ever use.

If you're going to move the chests from the guardian rooms you should also look at the players that are hoarding.

At any given time during peak time when the "power players" are on do a quick inventory check.

You'll see bards with a list of staves they cant use, warlocks with hoardes of stuff they are "holding for someone else" and sorcs with huge locate lists.

I fondly remember a certain IMM dehoarding Rosalin of her 10 page locate list because she was hoarding too much.

The rule on hoarding is enforced incredibly selectively, don't bother.

When I was first making my weapon comparison list I had about twenty types of iron weapons in my backpack and an immortal appeared to me and said: 'Drop all but three of those weapons or you will be put in hell.' I told him that the rule obviously is meant to apply to things that are limited, not extremely low level weapons that I can just rebuy in a store - he told me I had twenty seconds to junk them, etc.

Hoarding is the joke of sk!

SK Character: Salak
After trying to 'dehoard' people as an Imm, and taking heat for being too selective in the matter, I think it's best that players regulate such things. I'm not just talking about pking and taking the loot away from people who have it, either. Try RPing/trading for what you want or taking some initiative yourself and examining your own inventories and dropping off/giving away valuable items you don't use or have a use for. I know that this won't solve the problem of selfish players rolling sorcs who sit on ten-page locate lists, but a little awareness among the playerbase will go a long way in curbing the problem and keeping it from being too wide-spread.

As an aside, I think SK is loaded with loot right now and it doesn't take much to find a few cool pieces out there. Sure, the super elite stuff is always taken up, but that's always been the case on SK. Also, the best loot out there is the stuff you spend hours enchanting for magical protection and saves, or hit/damage... ;)

I almost think that what is determined by "super elite items," as Salak puts it, should be given a special flag. This flag can then be tracked by the IMM's and if a person is carrying to much of these elite items or is hoarding a bunch of them that they cannot even use, they should be dehoarded. Also, no place should in SK should be impossible to get to outside of only one person. I heard that a certain previous hoarder used such a place and it should of been changed.

No, Muktar. Bad boy. Get back in your box. Just because a person has a bunch of elite items doesn't mean they're hoarding, and if you don't know that you're...

Damnit, this is gameplay, isn't it?

Once again Jardek, you miss the point as usual. Hoarding is a problem in SK by some certain players in SK and they know who they are. I gave a suggestion to give IMMs the ability to track who has all of these items. I never said that they should dehoard anyone with a bunch of elite items. Just one the ones that are obsessive about it. So, do us a favor Jardek . . .nevermind this is gameplay.

Things I do not like

I haven't logged in for about a week. This is because I picked up a few bits of gear above my character's level and I don't want it to be stolen. My rationale therefore is that for me to log on, I want it to be for a long enough period of time that I don't spend it all running around getting replacements for equipment I've lost just by logging in.

End result? Almost total character inactivity.
