Shattered Kingdoms

I like the idea of damage over time spells. Imagine this scenario.

Mr. T is the villain of a movie. The hero, in saving a damsel in distress, bumps into the former A-Team star, offending him. Mr. T, not wanting to waste his masculinity on the wimp of a hero, calls in a lackey to eliminate the hero. The hero reacts by casting a spell, that slowly eats away at the retinas of the lackey.
