Hellions should not have create food or drink. It does not fit their style...though I would agree at times it would be nice to have...

As for the intimidate idea it does not mean that they have to stay in fight because it's what they want to do it is because Fear is a mind killer. There could be a chance with ever intimidate to just fry their nerves making them unable to function properly for a bit.

I still like the idea.

No to food and water. There are times I wish I could but most of the time I just kill something and have it butchered. However I would kinda like to see the skill of the Nightmare boosted a bit in the butcher department I've had em fail tons of times when I was literally starving.

Usually when it comes to intimidate people keep trying to attack you until they break it or someone in the group does. I would like to see the added effect of a "I got stared down so hard I couldnt move" thing. I would also like to see intimidate train a bit faster as it is probably the slowest skill to train in the game and the most advanced you can get is good plus one train I think it might be plus two.

I never got the locate item thing. Or the fact Pally gets BoG SoF and HW. Helly gets HF, Cause Critical and Cleave (Though cleave is no good after the first strike and takes a while to recharge after battle.). Hellions I think should get another Church based spell or attack.

Unless it's been changed intimidate only checks for improvement on the initial attack attempt, not any of the spam that follows, which makes it look like it improves much more slowly than it actually does. Of course I haven't used the skill since it was first implemented and it may have changed since then.

I think it checks over and over again. You can realize this if you enter an area with aggro NPCs and simply wait there. They will be intimidated once, twice, thrice... at a point they might pass the intimidate check (lucky roll) and initiate an attack.

How exactly does an animal butcher a corpse? Maybe butcher should be a sentient-only skill like taunt.

Carnivores have the ability to separate the skin and bones from the flesh. In that vague term, I can accept the fact that butcher works, for some animals. It is too much of a convenience to exclude that in favor or realism.
As for giving this spell to Hellions, I somewhat disagree for the reasons mentioned before.

I can understand how a carnivore with claws could butcher, but--

nightmares are horses.

Yes, they are horses, demon horse. What you are obviously not seeing is the hidden emotes where the nightmare shoots fire from its nostrils with a slowly rising burn to melt the flesh off of the bones and subsequently gives the fleshy, charred goop the cold stare of death until it reforms into a lopsided lump of meat that we call a steak.
